Overall, ReaderWare works pretty well. However, the mobile app is lacking. One of the biggest issues is that mobile barcode scanning no longer seems to be possible as the app required is no longer available.

What version of Android are you running?
If you search the Google Play Store for "ZXing Team" you should find another Barcode Scanner app that works with Readerware.

Barcode/ISBN scanning will not work. It keeps asking me to install Barcode Scanner. When it transfers me to download it, it says nothing could be found. I have download many different Barcode Scanner apps from the Play store, but it appears to recognize none of them. I am using Android version 14.

What version of Android are you using?
There is an issue with Android 13 or better that we are working on. Barcode scanning should work on earlier versions of Android.
