This app used to be great when I first started using it. It's gone steadily downhill the past 2 years. There's ALWAYS a glitch of some sort. Most recently, my friends can't see pics when I send them and my messages take a few minutes to actually send. I recently uninstalled and reinstalled the app and lost ALL my previous messages. Even the saved ones....Very disappointed.

**update, battery issue seems to be resolved** The app has been very buggy lately. 1. It is consuming a ton of battery in the background 2. when recording messages it does not show me how long I've recorded till I end my message 3. My phone seems to be at odds with the app and will not recognize that I'm actively using my phone when recording and so the screen will go to sleep when recording, or it won't let me record because it says another app is being used.

Overall I love this app. Use it daily to talk to my sister and less often to other family members. But it is glitchy. It will have random crashes, not give notification of messages, cut messages off, etc. We have learned how to manage it for the most part (i.e. don't continue a message once to connect to wifi. Stop your message and start a new one once you connect when you arrive home) but it can be frustrating. I haven't found another app I like better in over 6 years tho.
