About this app

Learn English with 29,000+ real videos from native speakers. From beginner to advanced.

Reelang looks like a normal short-form video feed. The difference is that it adapts to your English level. You watch real TikToks, YouTube Shorts and other short videos from English speakers, and we add new ones all the time.

You scroll. Reelang keeps finding English you can understand.

English from around the world

American, British and Australian English are all in the app, so you get used to how people really speak in different places: the accent, the words, the expressions.

Smart Subtitles show you what to learn first

Not every word is worth your time. Smart Subtitles tell you which ones are. You see whether a word is among the 500, 1,000 or 2,000 most common words in English.

A feed that grows with you

Native English is fun when you can follow it. It's frustrating when every sentence goes by too fast.

Reelang matches videos to your level, so the speech stays real and you can still follow it.

If you're a beginner, the feed starts with easier videos. As your English improves, it moves you into intermediate clips with faster, more natural speech. That is how listening comprehension builds.

If you know the term "comprehensible input," that's the idea. Real English you can mostly follow, with enough new language to keep you learning.

Use subtitles. Then hide them.

Start with Smart Subtitles when you need help. When a clip begins to feel easy, hide them and listen again.

Some of these videos have the subtitles burned into the image itself. A normal video player can't take those off the screen. Reelang can. Hide them and you're only listening, not reading.

Same clip, same speaker, no text to help you. Little by little you start catching words and whole sentences on your own.

Learn vocabulary where people use it

A word sticks when you hear a real person use it in a real situation.

Instead of working through word lists, you meet new words inside TikToks, Shorts and other native videos. Want to stay with a clip longer? Open Focus: it plays a sentence with no text, asks how much you caught, then breaks it down word by word until it lands. Tap a word to keep it for review.

The fun part is the learning

Reelang is built around videos people choose to watch anyway: funny clips, stories, street interviews, everyday life.

This isn't a lesson dressed up as entertainment. It's real entertainment in English, with the learning tools built around it. That's why opening the app tomorrow doesn't take discipline.

Reelang+ is optional. It gives you unlimited Learner Insights that explain the vocabulary, slang and why people say things the way they do (free accounts get a couple a day). It also brings your vocabulary back in new clips so the words stick, and unlocks your full Reelang Chart, which shows your level based on the speed and difficulty of the videos you understand.

You can still watch and learn without Reelang+.

Getting ready for a listening exam?

IELTS, TOEFL and the whole Cambridge ladder, A2 Key (KET), B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE) and C2 Proficiency (CPE), all measure the same thing: following real English the first time you hear it, at natural speed, in more than one accent. IELTS plays every recording once, with no replay at all. A short video is already that.

Smart Subtitles carry a frequency rank for every word. The top 500, 1,000 and 2,000 are marked as you watch, and anything rarer shows its exact rank, so the common core and the low-frequency vocabulary are both visible.

Use Reelang for English listening practice, comprehensible input, vocabulary in context and English immersion. American, British, Australian or all three: the feed keeps the speech real and the difficulty manageable.
