USA Softball of Louisiana is an affiliation of USA Softball, the National Governing Body of softball. We are one of 68 associations in the United States, offering programs for both youth and adults.

Youth Program: Girls Fastpitch/ Junior Olympic Program
The USA Softball youth program, also known as the Junior Olympic program, is among the nation's largest youth sports organization.


The USA Softball J.O. Program in Louisiana provides recreational and competitive opportunities for girls in the fast pitch arena. Whether a player views softball as a new sport to learn, as a way to have fun with friends, or as a path to the Olympics, the Louisiana youth program has something for them. Foremost, the goal of the USA youth program is to help aspiring young softball athletes learn a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime in a positive, safe, and supportive environment.

USA also offers players the opportunity to participate in elite programs such as the All-American Games, High Performance Program & more!

Adult Programs
The USA adult program has served as the softball community since 1933. USA Softball provides varied programs of competition for adults including fast pitch, slow pitch and modified pitch for men and women.

Umpire Program
The USA Softball umpire program is among the nation's largest officiating organizations with over 40,000 officials actively involved each year. USA Softball officials are nationally recognized as the best trained and proficient in the sport and are involved in competition starting with league play, city, state and national championships. Ultimately, USA Softball umpires have the opportunity to officiate events such as world championship, Pan American and Olympic competitions.
