Working with Remo Duplicate File Remover is easy:
Click “Scan”

After Scanning gets completed, it’ll display three tabs:

- Media
- Documents
- Others

Choose the tab which is appropriate to you
In ‘Media’ tab, select from Images, Videos and Audios
Under ‘Documents’, all the duplicate files for example .pdf, .txt, .xls etc…
‘Others’ tab is for all other file types like .zip
Select one of the duplicate file and hit delete

This is a really useful app. I was really dreading going through my duplicated MP3 files. I had almost two gigs of duplicated music files on my phone as I accumulated them over the years. I don't stream. I just use mp3s and I didn't have the most organized method, but I wanted to clear up the duplications and get this ready so I could just copy it over to a new phone and all systems would be a go. this also helped with photos and a few other things. good app

You get what you pay for (it's a free app). And I suspect most of the other reviews are fake. There's no way to choose the sensitivity, so it will choose any pictures that are similar (even if they look completely different to you). There's no way to choose the folders so you have to go around giving permission for every folder, and it won't compare to your SD card. It has little or no options. Pretty bare bones and leaves behind MANY duplicates. Very pretty app though.

So far, so good... I had a lot of audiobooks that it found duplicates of. Note... When it says 100% that just means that it's just done scanning all your files, it's not done doing it's comparison of all the files... Give it time to finish it's job. If you've an older unit it may take a minute or two. Go brew a cup of tea and let it work, it found 5GB of dupe audiobooks on my SD card, so yes it does work on your SD card and no it's not behind a paywall to do it's job. Good job to the devs!!!
