About this app

The Ghost Controls smart app allows you to easily open, close, check the status of, and help diagnose your automatic gate opener. This app supports all Ghost Controls gate openers that has the AXMC-R module installed. Please note that the AXMC-R module is a separately purchased accessory that does not come standard in standard Ghost Controls Kits.

Additional Features:
• Setup open and close alerts
• Create schedules to open and/or close your automatic gate opener
• Grant access to remote users
• Select user connection type of Bluetooth or Wifi
• View and Send diagnostics data to Ghost Controls to help reduce troubleshooting time

For Ghost Controls Smart App control you will need:
• A Ghost Controls control board with MultiConnect onboard
• Connection to Bluetooth or Wifi

Good App, but... continuously has a pop-up asking for precise location with "Location Accuracy," instead of just approximate location, which it doesn't need to function properly. I disabled precise location tracking for Google because it is highly unnecessary and invasive. If I click "No" to a permission request, it shouldn't pop up requesting that permission again every 5 seconds. It makes the App difficult to use.

pretty darned good app. One thing for the wish list would be a graph of battery voltage over time. Maybe a 7-day graph. it would be nice to see trends on solar charging. Maybe hourly samples. Also, being able to set unique sounds for various app notifications. Like errors, low batt, open, closed, etc. There is one annoying thing. it doesn't handle switching between my 2 screens on my Fold 5. it needs to start checking screen dimensions every time it is activated.

works 3 weeks out of the month. have to restart the box frequently to get connectivity otherwise the app just stays in "establishing connection.." in wireless, wifi and Bluetooth options. All the same issues. Have replaced the wireless module already, less than 1 year usage
