About this app

Work out how much epoxy resin a mold or a table needs, in the units your plan is
actually written in.

TYPE IT THE WAY YOU MEASURED IT

Inches, feet, millimetres or centimetres. Whole numbers, decimals, or fractions
like 3/4 and 1-1/2 straight off the tape measure.

Most resin calculators want centimetres and nothing else. If your plan says
1-1/2 inches, you should not have to convert it in your head first.

FIVE MOLD SHAPES

Rectangle and cuboid moulds. Cylinders and round coasters. Spheres. Cones.
River table channels.

Pick the shape, pick the units. They are separate choices and they never
interfere with each other.

THE MIX, ALREADY SPLIT

Choose your ratio and the app shows how much resin and how much hardener to
pour. 1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1 by volume, or 100:45 and 100:30 by weight.

Volume ratios and weight ratios are kept apart, because they are not the same
thing and mixing them up ruins a cure.

GRAMS AS WELL AS MILLILITRES

Pick a resin type and the app converts volume to weight for you. Deep pour
casting, table top coating, art and craft, UV cure, polyester.

Using something not on the list? Enter the density from your own product label
and the app uses that instead. Your label is always right.

DEEP POURS, LAYER BY LAYER

Thick pours build heat as they cure. Tell the app how many layers you plan and
it divides the pour for you.

ROOM FOR WHAT STAYS IN THE CUP

Some resin always clings to the mixing cup and the stir stick. Set a waste
percentage and it is added before the total is shown.

IT TELLS YOU WHEN IT CANNOT CALCULATE

A blank or a stray letter does not produce a quiet zero. The app names the
field, says what is wrong with it, and shows no result until it is fixed.

A wrong number you trust is worse than no number at all, because you will
mix to it.

THE MATH, IN THE OPEN

Rectangle: length x width x depth
Cylinder: pi x radius squared x height
Sphere: four thirds x pi x radius cubed
Cone: pi x radius squared x height, divided by three

Everything is converted to inches once, calculated, then converted to your
display units at the very end. Rounding happens once, on screen, so totals do
not drift.

WORKS AT THE BENCH

Every calculation runs on the device. No account, no sign-in, no connection
needed while you work.

No advertising anywhere in the app. Nothing covers the keypad while you are
trying to type a measurement.

No sensitive permissions. The app does not read your files, contacts, location
or photos.

WHO IT IS FOR

Woodworkers pouring river tables. Jewellery and coaster makers. Anyone standing
over a mold trying to work out whether one more cup will be enough.
Epoxy volume in inches or mm. Mix ratio, weight and layers, worked out for you.

What’s new

Epoxy resin volume calculator.

- Inches, feet, mm or cm, with fractions like 3/4 and 1-1/2
- Rectangle, cylinder, sphere, cone and river table shapes
- Mix ratio split into part A and part B
- Volume converted to grams by resin density
- Splits deep pours into layers, adds waste allowance
- Names the wrong field instead of showing a false zero
- Works offline, no account
