How do I get the PS3 like UI like the one shown in your pics?.. You need to make it more clear in your app. If you give me a reply on how to switch the UI, I'll change it to 5 stars. Also, the navigation is not great at all.. Hardware/Android's back button has no function, what's up with that? Please reply.
I get the "too complicated" reviews, it is an advanced emulator. However, if you're willing to figure it out, Retroarch is one of the most powerful emulator platforms out there. Being familiar with PC version helps a lot, as the principal is the same. Great for people who want all their emulation in one place, rather than having a sperate app for each system. Experiencing some sound and frame issues here and there, but I'm sure a little tweaking with fix that. Great software, hitting it out of the park again, Libretro.
Best mobile and desktop emulation software out there. Performance is pretty bad for me (anything above gba) but to be expected from a cheap phone like mine
Oh my, this app is a front-end with bare bones finally an app that will allow a user to only download what is necessary. And net access to install any emulator also at first use will allow access to memory card instead of system memory that way I will save system resource good app and in my opinion almost perfect.
This is a very powerful multi platform emulator with a nice PS3 style UI, but be warned, it's incredibly complicated to set-up. This is absolutely not for novices. You will need to watch tutorials on how to configure it, and when it comes to the less mainstream systems, such as the Mega CD and Super CD-ROM, you're going to be up to your eyeballs in text files to get it working. Even then, don't expect things to behave in a logical, predictable way, and there is no programme on earth as picky about set-up as this. If you get so much as a single character wrong, or even include an extra carriage return, it will fail. Once set-up correctly (and put aside a good day or three for the set-up work), it's great, and it supports a wide range of CRT and handheld/LCD filters too. The team desperately needs to make setup easier though.
Retroarch is impressive in that it is easy to add "cores" to emulate a wide variety of systems. If you have an external controller to use with Retroarch then it is a pleasure to use; otherwise, it is just frustrating to see beautifully rendered classics that are barely tolerable because the onscreen controls are so frustrating.
