I hadn't played this one before, so I decided to buy it and can say after playing it, it's pretty solid. Compared to ff3's remake, the battles are in lower fps, and some times the menus, combined with the perspective, can make it hard to use beneficial spells, but nonetheless it works well, has solid gameplay, great story, cool characters, about everything you could ask for in a final fantasy title.

Final Fantasy IV was the first RPG that I had played, way back in 1991, when it was marketed as Final Fantasy II, (but, that's another story). This is a port of the Nintendo DS remake and was the main reason that I was envious of DS owners. Fast forward to modern day and FF4 is here on Android in all it's DS remake glory. Bluetooth Controller works VERY well. However, you don't really need a controller to play a turned based RPG. My inner child is very pleased with this purchase. ❤️

As someone who's played multiple final fantasy games, including the originals of one through six, amoung others, I can say this is the point in the series where the stories really start to develop and get good. This is when it really takes hold as more of a cinematic masterpiece than just a game. It's one of the best in the series. I really enjoy the android versions and they give that feel of having "something extra and new" that sets them a part from the original versions.
