The Revo Scan POP 3 is a excellent entry-level scanner. While not incredible in terms of software, the ease of use and accessibility of the tool makes it a good starting point for students, hobbyist, or Makers. I would recommend this for a first scanner to develop skills, workflow, and understanding the limits of 3D scanning, but I would be hesitant to use this for high-end or high accuracy work.

Awkward unintuitive UI, more resembles a puzzle to work out the whole scanning and rendering process. That's between the random camera disconnects mid-scan. It's unstable and was developed without considering first time user inexperience. High battery drain on S21 ultra smartphone, with the screen staying active during lengthy intense model processing. Definitely better results attained from using Revo pc software instead. Ultimately limiting the scanners portability. Good product bad software.

Another example of "decent hardware and absolutely horrible software". Can't connect via usb with non-informative errors, opens system wifi list instead of connecting via wifi. Side note: even the software on the scanner itself sometimes fails to detect which model you have! Also there is no support, just bots.
