About this app

Rewrap is a native reader that finally makes PDFs comfortable on a phone.

Instead of pinch-zooming a page and scrolling sideways to chase each line, Rewrap keeps the page locked to your screen's width and ENLARGES and REWRAPS the text in place. Images, tables and figures stay where they belong and grow with the font. Nothing ever scrolls sideways.

It works on scanned books too. Rewrap recognizes and repairs the text right on your device — no upload, no waiting on a server.

Everything runs 100% on your phone. No cloud. No account. No AI service. No network permissions. A one-time purchase, not a subscription.

READING
• Text enlarges and rewraps to fit — the page never gets wider than your screen
• Auto-scroll reads for you at an adjustable speed
• Book mode: flip pages sideways like a real book
• Pinch to resize the letters; long-press to see the original page with zoom
• Reading percentage and a remembered position for every book
• Clean reading strips repeated headers, page numbers and gaps for smooth prose

FORMATS
• PDF (digital and scanned), EPUB, TXT, and photos of pages
• A single photo, a whole folder as ONE multi-page book, or several bound into a PDF
• Scan pages with the camera (guided capture, automatic edge detection)
• Angled photos of a page are straightened automatically; double-page scans can be split

FAITHFUL TEXT
• Digital PDFs are read exactly from the file's own text layer — any language
• Scans go through on-device recognition, with evidence-based repairs (broken fonts, lost diacritics, phantom accents, end-of-line hyphens)
• Fix any recognized word by tapping it
• Document language detected automatically, changeable per book

READ ALOUD
• Natural text-to-speech in the book's own language
• Choose the engine, voice and speed; hear a sample before choosing
• Follow the spoken word on the page, kept in sync at any speed
• Keeps reading with the screen off — lock-screen, notification and headphone controls

NOTES & NAVIGATION
• Highlight passages in every format (they stay put when you change the font)
• Export your notes as text, Markdown, Anki cards or PDF — straight to the share sheet
• Full-text search (accents don't matter), bookmarks, table of contents
• Tap a word to look it up in your phone's offline dictionary

EXPORT & CONVERT
• Turn any book into EPUB, TXT, DOCX or PDF — real chapters, cover and cleaned text
• Convert a TXT into a proper EPUB, or bind photos into a single PDF

COMFORT
• Light, Sepia, Night, pure-black AMOLED and custom themes with a live editor
• Line and letter spacing, a reading ruler, bionic bold
• A dyslexia-friendly font (OpenDyslexic) that works even on scanned books

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• No cloud sync forced on you; automatic on-device backups
• Optional, portable export/import of your positions, bookmarks and highlights
• You choose if app data is backed up to the cloud — off by default

Rewrap does the hard part — reflowing, recognizing, repairing, reading aloud and exporting a book — entirely on your phone, the things other readers send to the cloud or simply refuse to do.
Reflow any PDF, even scans, on your phone. No cloud, no account, no AI.

What’s new

Fixes a layout problem on some PDFs, usually scanned manuals and older files, where the enlarged text landed next to the pictures it belongs to. Paragraphs could show up twice, images were cut in the wrong place, and highlights and notes sat beside their text instead of on it. Those pages now read cleanly. Nothing changes on files that were already fine.
