Used ColorNote every day for more than a decade. Always wanted more privacy, security, better backup option, but keep the same app 'style'. Tried many apps but never found one that hit every mark... Until FairNote!!! This is the BEST app for notes, to do lists, reminders, privacy, storage, and more, EVER! Thank you FairNote people!

Very good app take time to learn. Secure Storage of encrypted notes. With the label feature you can create different categories of notes. What would make this a five star app is the ability encrypt/decrypt multiple files at the same time. The pro version of let you encrypt/decrypt all notes. When reading an decrypting a note it will encrypt immediately if you switch screen, if access multiple times need to enter the password over. Needs option keep decrypted in read-only mode.

Pretty basic, but reliable, and supports encryption. The basic is a nice feature in our age of data harvesting. Re: other reviews that mention note reencrypts as soon as you put another app in the foreground - at least on my version of android, you can still see the encrypted note's content in the app preview, allowing you to avoid having to decrypt multiple times in cases where you need to refer back to the encrypted note while using another app.
