Use our health app for many digital services related to your health. With this app you get access to your electronic patient record (ePA), your e-prescriptions, electronic benefit information, digital health applications, and much more.

Simply apply for the electronic patient file (ePA) from your BKK B.Braun Aesculap. This is provided to you free of charge. By using the electronic patient file, you always have an overview of your health data. The patient file is your personal digital storage location, like a safe that only you have the key to. You decide what data you want to add and which people you want to authorize access to. This means you always have your medical documents to hand during treatment appointments and can share them with practices and facilities if necessary. The laborious management of paper documents is now a thing of the past. The patient file makes your life easier and at the same time relieves the burden on those involved in the healthcare system!

The development and approval of electronic patient files is subject to strict legal requirements, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As BKK B. Braun Aesculap, the best possible protection of your health data is particularly important to us. To ensure secure access, unique personal identification is required.
There are several options you can choose from during the registration process:
– POSTIDENT (eID): We recommend identification using your ID card with PIN. If you no longer know the PIN for your ID card, contact your local citizens' office.
– POSTIDENT (branch): Through our partner “Deutsche Post” you can use one of over 27,000 post offices in your area to have your ePA activated.
– Activation code: We will also identify you personally using your ID card in one of our branches and give you an activation code. To protect your data, the activation code will not be transmitted electronically or by post, but will only be given to the office upon presentation of your ID card.
