Quellstone is a chess game with a three-dimensional board, made to be played with your phone upright.
Play against the computer on five levels, from beginner to master, or against another person on the same device. In that mode the board turns toward whoever moves next, and you can turn this off when you are sitting face to face with the phone on the table.
The chess engine and every rule were written for this game: castling, en passant, promotion, stalemate, threefold repetition and the fifty-move rule. The clock is optional and follows the FIDE Laws of Chess, including the draw when a flag falls and the opponent has no material to give checkmate.
