The entire map is covered in fog. It clears only where you have walked.

Footprints is a personal travel archive that engraves every place you have visited onto a map. With every step, the fog lifts, and as records accumulate, the map becomes the very trajectory of your life.

Hiking, domestic travel, cafe hopping, camping, walking trails — the map opens up as much as you record.

■ Fog Map That Opens as You Walk

· Only the paths you have passed are permanently cleared, and once cleared, the areas do not disappear.

· You can manually adjust the clearing radius from 15m to 100m.

· Filters out GPS glitches to neatly record only the actual path you walked.

■ Visit History That Finishes in 1 Second

· Automatically populates the place name and address of your current location.

· You can add star ratings, notes, hashtags, and photos.

· When you are busy, just save your location with a single 'Quick Record'.

· If you visit the same place again, it is automatically grouped into a single location.

· If you stay at a place for more than 10 minutes, a message will appear asking, "Would you like to record this?" Ask first (Optional)

■ Hiking and Trekking

· Automatically calculates distance traveled, time taken, and calories burned

· The route remains uninterrupted even when the screen is off

· Saves a map image containing the entire route upon exiting

■ 100 Famous Mountains

· Displays hiking trails for the 100 Famous Mountains directly on the map

· Check course distances and estimated times in advance

· Check mountains you have completed and see at a glance how many you have climbed

· Notifies you when you are within 5km of a Famous Mountain (Optional)

■ Accumulated Records Become Achievements

· Total visited locations, exploration area (km²), monthly travel distance, distribution by category

· Regional Conquest Rate — How many provinces and cities/counties/districts you have visited

· Badges and Consecutive Records — 10, 50, 100 locations; 5, 10 Famous Mountains; Consecutive Days of Visit

· At the end of the year, we will create an annual "My Footsteps" photobook in PDF format

■ When You Want to Show Off

· Display the fog map and your records as a single card image Create and share instantly

· You can export visit logs by location as A4 PDF

· View photos again in albums and slideshows by date, location, and category

■ Your records are only on your phone

· All data is stored only on the device and is not transmitted to external servers

· No registration or login is required

· You can back up and restore your entire records (including photos) as a single ZIP file

· There is no cloud synchronization feature. Please be sure to back up your data before changing devices or deleting the app

■ Things to know in advance

· This app is specialized for domestic travel. Maps and automatic address entry are based on domestic standards, and accuracy may be lower overseas

· Routes and fog are recorded normally even in mountains without signal. However, map images only display previously viewed areas, and automatic address entry is not available

· Long-term trekking consumes battery power. If the recording is interrupted, please add "Footprints" as an exception for battery optimization in your phone settings

· Available on Android 8.0 and above

· Free and contains advertisements. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

■ Location Information Usage Guide

Footprints collects location information even when the screen is off or the app is not in use. This is to provide features such as recording hiking and walking routes, fog map clearing, automatic detection of visited locations, and notifications for arriving at famous mountains. It operates only when these features are enabled. Collected location information is stored only within the device and is not transmitted externally; it stops immediately if each feature is turned off in Settings.

■ Access Permissions Guide

[Required]

· Location (Precise) — Check current location, record visited locations, track routes

[Optional]

· Background Location — Record routes and fog while the screen is off, automatic detection of visits, notifications for famous mountains

· Camera — Take photos for visit history

· Photos & Media — Attach photos from Gallery

· Notifications — Tracking progress, visit history suggestions, arrival at famous mountains, weekly retrospective notifications

· Storage (Android 9 and below) — Save backup ZIP, PDF, and images

You can still use the app's basic functions even if you do not allow optional permissions.

■ Safety Guide

The hiking trail information provided by the app is for reference only. Please note that during the actual hike, you must first check local signage and weather conditions, and safety is the user's own responsibility.
