About this app

Wardrive Go turns your phone into a serious wardriving rig. Drive, walk, bike, or Onewheel and it passively logs every Wi-Fi access point, Bluetooth/BLE device, and cell tower it hears — each geotagged with a precise GNSS fix — then plots them live on a map and uploads your finds to WiGLE and WDGWars with a single tap.

Built for wardrivers, RF hobbyists, and the security-curious. No root required.

WHAT IT DOES
• Passive scanning of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, and cell towers, all at once
• Multi-constellation GNSS readout (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS) with satellites-in-fix
• Live map of everything you've found, with a coverage view and your driving trail
• One-tap upload sends your run to both WiGLE and WDGWars at once — plus in-app leaderboards and stats
• Field report: totals, per-maker breakdown, and every device you've logged

UPLOAD TO WIGLE + WDGWARS (ONE TAP)
The dashboard's Upload button sends your run to both wardriving databases at the same time:
• WiGLE — the global archive of wardriven Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cell networks
• WDGWars — Watch Dogs Go Wars (wdgwars.pl): the interactive-map wardriving layer for LOCOSP's cyberpunk RPG Watch Dogs Go, where the networks you collect power your in-game character and fill in the world you've explored
Each service is tracked separately, so a network already sent to one still counts as new for the other.

EXTERNAL USB ADAPTERS (MONITOR MODE)
Plug in a supported USB Wi-Fi adapter over OTG for true monitor-mode capture — far more range and detail than the built-in radio, with no drivers to install:
• Atheros AR9271 (Alfa AWUS036NHA, TP-Link TL-WN722N v1)
• MediaTek MT7612U (Alfa AWUS036ACM) — dual-band 2.4 + 5 GHz
• Realtek RTL8821AU (Alfa AWUS036ACS)
• Ralink RT3070
Dual-band channel hopping, distant-AP capture, adjustable dwell, and per-adapter settings.

SPOT WHAT'S WATCHING YOU
Wardrive Go recognizes notable and offensive devices around you and calls them out by name:
• Surveillance cameras (Flock Safety, ALPR, body cams, action cams)
• Drones (DJI and others)
• Trackers (Apple Find My / AirTag, Google Find My, Samsung SmartTag, Tile, Chipolo, Globalstar)
• Attack hardware (Flipper Zero, RF tools, and more)
A live Offensive Devices panel, threat-lane color coding, and tappable map markers — with a collapsible layer filter so you see only what you care about.

TOOLS
• Radar and device locator
• Spectrum analyzer and channel analyzer (2.4 / 5 / 6 GHz)

PRIVACY FIRST
Your data is yours. Set exclusion zones around your home, blacklist specific devices, and honor "_nomap" — anything excluded is stripped from every upload and hidden on the map.

HOME-SCREEN & WEAR
• Home-screen and Galaxy Flip cover widgets (live stats, offensive count/list, dashboard)
• Wear OS companion with a live stats tile and buzz-on-spot alerts

PERMISSIONS
Location is required by Android for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning and to geotag your finds. Wardrive Go scans passively and never transmits on your behalf.

Wardrive responsibly and know your local laws.
Map Wi-Fi, BT & cell; spot cams & trackers; upload to WiGLE + WDGWars in one tap

this app, a cheap android, and an external wireless card (I run a panda pau0D) are all you need to pull down numbers usually only seen with a kismet rig and $$$ antennas. this app provides a pathway to a very low barrier to entry into competitive wardriving: this app installed on a $40 fone, paired with a $40 wifi adapter, and you're running a competitive rig.

Excellent wardriving client. I haven't had a chance to do a direct comparison between Wigle WiFi and this app, but I trust the performance by just eyeballing the numbers on my daily drives. UI is very eyecandy but remains functional, mostly. Easy upload to WDG and Wigle simultaneously is very nice. Alerts for noteable devices (flock, meta glasses) work good. This app has support for OTG hardware, like Alfa WiFi adapters, allowing for more powerful scanning. Very excited for the future of the app

Best wardriving app I have found. Being able to direct upload to WDGwars and Wigle is great. Only thing missing is the companion app is not compatible with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025. Hoping that is possible to get added. If so, 5 stars all day.

Wear OS app is in review from Google since 8/19. Also when they decide to finish review on my Phone update it will work on Android Auto. Thanks for your patience!
