Following his father's murder, Huang Lee has a simple mission: deliver an ancient sword to his Uncle Kenny to ensure his family retains control of the Triad gangs of Liberty City. Love this game but few small bugs Sometimes when driving, the turn buttons will go dead and I can't turn for maybe 10 seconds or so. It Isn't a big issue but no fun when you have stars. Also I can't use the Ammu-Nation delivery service because there is no link on the email they send you. But other than that I love the game very much. Works very smooth on my galaxy s6 with little to no lag. Definitely recommend if you have a newish phone. I haven't played this on an older phone so idk how good it plays on other phones.

So good Very happy this came out. Even happier when I played it. Just like an updated version of the original pc title with the map of gta 4. Smooth rendering, great game play, seldom if at all lags. Only complaint is every now and then if I miss the break button it thinks I'm using the turn controls when I'm using analogue stick car steering. Other than that bloody brilliant. Highly recommended.

Great game should be able to place it on Sd card not internal The game is just like the original Gta's and is brilliant however my main issue with this game and most of the GTA games on the Google Play Store is how you are forced to have the game on internal memory rather than an external Sd card. This creates me alot of issues with storage space as I have a 200gb memory card with 76gbs left that is not being utilised. Rockstar please address this issue a.s.a.p.

LG G3 This is the best mobile game I've played. Hands down. Haven't regretted the buy. Controls are perfect, graphics are awesome, story is hilarious and fun, plus there is barely any loading at all. Definitely 5 stars in my book. I'm saying this now and I've been playing the game for weeks, so I'm sure that's saying something. Don't hesitate, buy this game, and maybe rockstar will finally produce another perfect mobile game.

5 star game but some improvements to be made Firstly, this is a very good game, obviously designed for mobile devices. The controls are not as good but the custom control layout offsets that somewhat. Brilliant storyline and gameplay as well as good game progression would deservingly give this 5 stars, but I would really like to see multiplayer enabled, whether it be local WiFi or Bluetooth or global, because I remember playing this on Nintendo DS and how brilliant the multiplayer was. If you could implement that, definite 5 stars from me.

What a game!!! I was first skeptical about downloading this game. Being a fan of Rockstar games I wanted a gta which should give me something extra something that I have not experienced in past. This is probably the best gta on mobile. Great missions which are really fun to play and I love the pda system in this. I wonder why this is not being downloaded as much as vice city or gta 3, It is equally entertaining guys. Plz give it a try.

Add this feature I would advertise this game to people if you guys can add a feature where if you get in a cop car you can pull someone over for no reason and fine them with like a ticket and they pay and you get. basically I'm saying this would be an easy money feature so plz add this to the game and ill advertise. Btw great game and great graphics highly recommend it.

Better than the DS version This is an excellent port, the controls can be a bit fiddly on a touchscreen but I think that's sorta expected as no GTA game will be perfect on a touchscreen. It's still fine to play, I had the iPhone version when it came out in 2009 but this new Android version is an improvement on that, game looks lovely on my Nexus 5 and it definitely has been improved graphically from the original DS game

Very good This game is very fun and runs very smoothly. Good story, not bad graphics and decent controls. One thing missing is voice dialogue. Right now it just has subtitles on the screen, not a problem, just would've made it more interesting if you could actually hear the characters speak.

It's ok Seems now like gta 2 set up.. Can't believe this is anyone's favorite gta. It's definitely the smallest file for cheaper phones to have a better experience. San andreas is way better. . Only thing in this game has better is the whole drug selling and buying to make money thing.

Easily the best mobile open world experience This is by far my favorite mobile game ever. The Liberty City of CTW is lively, fully realized version of the iconic GTA city. There's just so much to do in this game. It's a crying shame that there hasn't been a sequel or another top down GTA game.

5 star game but controls ruin it. I remember playing this all the time on my iPod touch when it first came out but for the Android I don't like the driving controls it has and wish they would change them, I bought this game hoping it would be as good as the iPod gamebut I just don't like the driving controls it has so I don't play it that often. I hope they'll fix them so I can enjoy the game more. If it wasn't for the terrible controls in the game it would be a 5 star game

Dear Rockstar, This game is great. Where are the updates? Needs more content, waste or a great foundation! Some ideas online mode , more missions, basically thts it and then like little stuff like different texture options. The psp and ds texture etc. Id pay for theses updates. Thanks rockstar and id rather pay for this the gta lcs double. Also wheres gta 4 at.

Very good Just finished this, been addicted to it since buying, rattled through it. It works extremely well for the xperia z2 and with customisable controller layout, ye can't go wrong. Here, rockstar, any chance of releasing Vice City Stories for android? I'd buy it in a flash.

Download failed because you may not have purchase this app I use rooted lg l70 phone, and some application to maximize my storage capacity. The problem is because i was forgot to pairing my data game(using foldermount). After fix it, the game is run smoothly now. For people,If you using foldermount remember to pair the data game. 4 star for rockstar game.

Awesome game I loved this game on the ds and can't wait to play it again. All the people who are unable to download due to error 905 here is a solution. You need to go into your setting and then go to applications, find the play store and delete the files, then turn your phone off and turn it back on, then you wait a little bit and then you can download any app without getting an error. Hope this helped

Amazing Game for Mobile GTA Chinatown Wars is one of the best mobile games I have ever played. I remember playing this on a friend's PSP once and I just had to get this one; if you've ever enjoyed GTA Advanced for the Gameboy Advanced then you will love this. Although the controls take some getting used to, you can always adjust them to suit your comfort. Great gameplay, art style, exploration, mini games, cut-scenes, voice-acting, this game has it all and is by far the best mobile GTA. 10/10

Played it so many times, I lost count. I really love GTA Chinatown Wars. Played it on the ds countless of times. So when it came out on android, I had to get it! Seems like the graphics on the android version is even better, which made me really happy. Thank you rockstar games, I just hope you guys come out with a sequel :D

Great, but... I had this game for the DS and I love it. The problem I'm having is that you use to be able to message friends, and trade "goods" (you'll know what I'm talking about when you play it) to one another. I think they should've kept this feature. That would've been kind of cool to trade/message people on here.

[UPDATE:24/5/16] Using Samsung Galaxy S3 Encountering a problem. Need help. I kept failing on Double Trouble Mission, and I got sidetracked to Wilbem. Then I can't do Lester's mission again even though I gave him 10 ectasy. Did I do something wrong? This is my favourite game on the phone! Fascinated that you can adjust the size of the controls as well as moving them around.

Always Stops and Quits suddenly I was enjoying the game on my S6 but it always freezes and I have to start over from the last save. Just got this game today and it's already frozen 5 times. Totally not worth it until the problem is solved.

Nice title, but poor port The game is okay for a mobile title, but controls are extremely poor. Gamepad control is wobly, loose and imprecise without a properly implemented deadzone. Games like Bards Tale do not have this problem. In an action game, controls make or break the game, so... fail.

Not bad The only two problems I have are that the control stick isn't in a fixed position, which can make moving awkward, and music starts playing randomly despite the fact that I have the music volume turned all the way down. Otherwise, this game is fine. Please fix these issues, if possible.

Good game bad controls Unless you have tiny child hands this game is impossible to play. When driving cars the joystick will randomly glitch to the right side of the screen. Cars will randomly auto lock forward and go without you wanting them to. Running controls are awful. Don't buy this game.

Still an NDS classic Just like before! But with new HD graphics and lighting! Overall the game itself is great! Cheesy story, great cutscene animation (though lack of voices), and fun gameplay, just like the one on the NDS. Only downside is the touch controls are a bit finicky, though that can be easily negated by the added compatibility with Bluetooth enabled controllers! Overall, its fun and a great time killer.

Progress lost This games showed an error message multiple times so I uninstalled and reinstalled and bam I have to start over! I need assistance. I have gotten halfway through the game too I'm not starting over. Either fix this or give me a full refund thanks.

Shooting mechanics are beyond broken I'm on the mission where you have to kill your uncle, and it's literally impossible with these broken controls. Many times will my character shoot at nothing and I can't stop him, causing him to reload and be quickly killed. Other times he decides to run random directions without shooting, once again leading him to be killed instantly. The level is impossible to beat because you essentially have to control a character that's beyond incompetent of any basic movement.

Needs cloud save support, but otherwise a solid port Would be nice to see Rockstar add this to their mobile games. Having to start over when changing devices seems so antiquated.

Few glitches The text from the dealers tends to spill outside the text box and become unreadable. Also would be nice if the "Touch here to trade/search dumpster/etc." prompt was a bit bigger/more prominent.

Awesome For all those who are having problems downloading it, keep trying, it took me 12 attempts but it was well worth the wait. This is an awesome mobile game and you can spend hours completing all of the missions and side missions. It also benefits from a great story line.

Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars is a great game in and of itself, however the Android TV port is extremely lazy. They added controller support, but the interface still references all the touchscreen controls which are completely irrelevant on Android TV and just serves to confuse.

Bomb disposal (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3) One of Zhous missions, the bomb disposal is bugged. The meter is way off the area and cannot be used to detect the wires. Also sometimes touching off the area cuts wires. Im not going to go and try guess all 3 vans right in one go and if the wires are same each time, im too lazy to look them up.

Too hard Most sessions ended with frustration. The fundamental problem was I could not get any better at driving. The controls are either too small or poorly placed. At the end of many attempts my fingers were tired and I just wanted to toss the stupid phone out the window.

Xperia Z2 I had never played CTW before, so I thought I'd buy this as all GTA's are great. The birds eye view reminds me of classic GTA but massively revamped, I love it and I never thought I'd get used to it. I heavily recommend this, it's another look on GTA and it's beautiful.

Chinatown wars, off the hook I have been playing this since part one came out on PlayStation one and they made it 100 times better. Sell drugs, play scratch offs, buy houses, taking a swim or boat ride even take cabs. What I like about the hold thing is that they have the same environment as GTA 4 and the missions are crazy. I had crazy fun with it, they need a part 2 of this or bring out 4 already.

Awesome port, except... The on foot touch controls are terrible. Unlike driving controls, which you can set the buttons on the HUD anywhere and resize them, the walking controls wont let you switch the movement area from a small square of the lower left. Right next to the menu and back buttons on the phone. Why on earth they did that instead of hold anywhere to move that way is beyond me. At least make us able to swap lft/rt sides of the phone. It ruins what otherwise would be the best port of GTA:CW yet.
