About this game

Welcome back to Vice City. Welcome back to the 1980s.

From the decade of big hair, excess and pastel suits comes a story of one man's rise to the top of the criminal pile. Vice City, a huge urban sprawl ranging from the beach to the swamps and the glitz to the ghetto, was one of the most varied, complete and alive digital cities ever created. Combining open-world gameplay with a character driven narrative, you arrive in a town brimming with delights and degradation and given the opportunity to take it over as you choose.

To celebrate its 10 year anniversary, Rockstar Games brings Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to mobile devices with high-resolution graphics, updated controls and a host of new features including:

• Beautifully updated graphics, character models and lighting effects
• New, precisely tailored firing and targeting options
• Custom controls with a fully customizable layout
• Massive campaign with countless hours of gameplay
• Compatible with the MoGa Wireless Game Controller and select USB gamepads
• Integrated with Immersion tactile effects
• Tailor your visual experience with adjustable graphic settings

Barely works at all now. Had it since June, & now it's having more problems than ever. Worked fine for awhile. Now it freezes all the time. When it doesn't freeze it stops all the time for no reason. Fix it! I play it when I'm bored, but thank God it's cheap as ever. Not made well at all, & half the time you can't complete missions because they make it impossible to get that far. Whoever made it is a real idiot. The one's who made it/run it can watch over you, & screw it up if they want too.

Vehicles pulling to the right/left? Turn off the accelerometer in the games settings. Boats too slow? Go into your device settings and change display to 60hz or Motion Smoothness to Standard (be sure to Apply). Want to change the radio station? Get a bluetooth controller and hit the up arrow! Want to enter cheats? Get a tablet with an external keyboard like the Tab S7. Dropping a star bc some of these things were hard to figure out.

If your game is running twice as fast as it should, you likely have a phone with a refresh rate higher than 60. Kind of amazing R* fixed this issue for GTA3, but hasn't fixed Vice City. Anyway, for the time being you can fix the issue by changing your screen refresh rate to 60. For Galaxy S20 users go to: settings/display/motion smoothness. Change the selected setting to standard. Hope this helps.
