YOUR AREAS
Draw any field and save it. Work it systematically: a grid fills green square by square as you walk, covering every metre. Rodek tracks how much you have scanned and what is left. Your areas build into a personal atlas of every field you have ever hunted.
SESSIONS AND HEALTH
Start a session and Rodek tracks steps, distance, elevation and calories while drawing a glowing trail behind you. A live session notification runs on your lock screen so the phone stays pocketed. When you finish, every step is saved. Replay the hunt animated on the map at your real pace. Digging stops counted. Stats build over time.
YOUR FINDS
The moment something comes out of the ground, tap the camera. A GPS pin drops, your photo is attached and the depth, category, signal and notes are saved. Up to three photos per find. Dig detection watches for when you crouch and quietly offers to log right at that spot.
Your finds gallery is a curved museum dial you flick to browse. Filter by category, star your best pieces. Every find shows exactly where it came from,
down to the field and village name.
KNOW WHERE YOU CAN DETECT
1.44 million protected and archaeological zones across 47 countries live on your map. Walk toward one and Rodek warns you. Step inside and a full-screen alert fires with sound and haptic, even when the phone is pocketed during a session.
The pre-flight check gives you distance to the nearest protected site, daylight left and the rain forecast, all before you leave home.
COMMUNITY
The global metal detecting community lives here. Find a mate to hunt with. See who is nearby, who is online. Message anyone directly. Add a friend and their position appears on your map with a live online dot, so you always know who is out detecting near you.
Host or join a Crew hunt. Set the time, the place and the detection zone. Every detectorist within 30 km can see it, join and group-chat in real time. Your shared detection zone appears on every crew member's map during the hunt. The whole group, connected, on the same ground.
Share finds, ask questions, identify pieces, tip spots. List gear in the Marketplace. Show your best finds in the Digital Museum. Join your county hub and compete in the County vs County league.
