Two pedals. One tractor. A lot of hill.
Gas on the right, brake on the left, and that's the whole control scheme. The hills do the rest. Drive through the haystacks to collect them, grab the jerry cans before the tank runs dry, and get to the barn without landing on the cab.
HOW TO PLAY
• Hold gas to go, brake to slow down or reverse.
• Full gas lifts the front wheels — ride the wheelie or loop over backwards.
• In the air the pedals rotate the tractor. Land on the wheels.
• Drive through haystacks to collect them. Jerry cans top up the tank.
EIGHT LEVELS, THREE STARS EACH
The first level is 200 metres. The eighth is 420 metres of steeper, meaner hills. One star for reaching the barn, one for collecting 80% of the hay, one for beating par time. Twenty-four stars in all, and the last few are not free.
Crash or run dry and you keep half the hay you collected. You made something. You just didn't make the barn.
ENDLESS
No finish line. The terrain streams out ahead of you and gets steeper the further you go, while the fuel cans get further apart. Your score is distance plus the hay you picked up on the way, and the game remembers your best.
THE GARAGE
Hay is money. Spend it on five tractors — Red, Green Boy, Old Faithful, Monster and Whitey — each with its own engine, weight and suspension, and each one drives differently. Then spend it again on Engine, Tires, Suspension and Fuel tank, five tiers each, tracked per tractor. Your ratty starter can end up better than a new one.
NO ACCOUNT, NO INTERNET
Everything is on your phone. No sign-up, no login, no cloud, nothing to restore. Play it on a plane. Your stars and coins live on your device and nowhere else.
Tractor Racing: Hillclimb is free. There is a banner on the level select and garage screens, and one full-screen ad after every third run — never during a run, and never over your results.
NO SOUND YET
The game is silent. No engine noise, no music, no crash sound. Play it with your own music on.
