The new nature conservation center of the Thuringia Nature Conservation Foundation has been located in the Egapark in Erfurt since April 2021. In addition to the main office, there is an informative and modern exhibition on the national natural monument “Green Belt Thuringia” for visitors.

The app expands the exhibition with interactive elements and detailed background information on the Green Belt. The digital content of the exhibition can be accessed here with little contact and, for the most part, read and listened to at home. So you can understand the leap in time from the former border to the Green Belt as a three-dimensional augmented reality model, look at a border tower and listen to people who are active on the Green Belt. Slideshows vividly and briefly show the history of the border and the Green Belt and invite you to hike and discover the Green Belt of Thuringia.

The app is intended as a supplement to the exhibition on site, but also offers the option of calling up film and audio elements independently of the exhibition.
