A useful app I am in love with this app. First of all, it does not ever forcibly or indirectly prompt you to rate it, let alone give it a rating of five stars. Secondly, I had started to lose track of my mobile data, I was suspicious that my operator was unfairly deducting charges from my mobile data pack. After, installing this app, not only have I been successfully able to keep track of my data but also I spend less data relatively everyday now and the figures shown to me by the app are pretty accurate too.
Love this- but it's a (relative) battery hog Love how little and simple and accurate this widget is. Only one downfall - it's a relative battery hog. Yes, 8% of my battery usage isn't technically very much. Except the screen, Google play services, and Android system ALL use less battery than this tiny data counter widget. Widget 8%, screen 5%? Not good.
Used to be Amazing, but now just adequate Since using this widget on Android Nougat, the Wi-Fi Counter has stopped working. Luckily the Data counter is still working more or less.
This is a longer review for the dev. Billing Cycle Progress Bar It would be nice to have added an option to add-in a progress bar of billing date. The top bar would be --- X days of 30 day / 31 days The bottom bar can be an option of Y MB of Mobile Data limit OR The Z MB of Wifi Limit. Not everyone wants to track Wifi usage. That way, you have all the information about your data usage at a glance. Data Usage Offset It's also good to have a "offset" option, since not everybody starts using the app at exactly the start of the billing cycle. This will give the user an option to make the widget adjust the number so it's on mark no matter when they started using the app.
Perfect Does what it says, and dependably well at that. Simple, easy, exactly what it should be, thanks to the developer, been using this since gingerbread days
Battery usage. It alwsys shows high up on the battery usage list, even if i set its refresh rate to 60 minute :-(
+ Added support for Wi-Fi counting for Android N. Can only count if the device doesn't have support for mobile data.
+ Added support for data counting for Chromebooks.
* Bugfix: A few devices got their data count double from version 2.0.7.
