GESDUA (Geriatric Safe Drugs Uses App) is an application aimed at medical colleagues who need fast, scientific evidence-based, and easily accessible information in selecting drug therapy for geriatric patients.

This application will help provide a warning when you plan to choose drugs that are at risk for geriatric patients. The warnings in question include potentially inappropriate medications for geriatrics (Potentially Inappropriate Medications / PIM) because of the drug itself; PIM due to disease factors experienced by the patient; PIM due to drug interactions; and PIM because of the patient's decreased kidney function.

You can choose to take advantage of various features in GESDUA without logging in, or enjoy full access to features by logging in. When you choose to log in, you will find it easy to store patient data and history that you treat confidentially, safely, and easily accessible again.

The GESDUA application is also suitable for prospective health workers who are currently studying, to be able to simulate drugs that are safe for geriatric patients. This application also provides drug information that is classified as a drug with strong anticholinergic activity; drugs with a risk of causing falls in the elderly; and drugs that need to be avoided or adjusted for use in patients with impaired renal function.
