Ratings and reviews

Game is quite good. Love the music and overall theme. However, there are some animation issues. Sometimes the character actions do not match up during combat as I've noticed quite often the enemies get hit without any sword swing. The slide to dash controls/mechanic just doesn't work on portrait mode and makes the dashes unpredictable and borderline useless since it won't work half the time. Definitely needs an overhaul. Perhaps reducing the friction required to slide might help.

This game is awesome! Beautiful, simple, addictive, and satisfying. The only issue is that the tutorial doesn't explain the combat fully. It says that to attack you have to move next to an enemy. When you do this the player does an animation and does damage, but sometimes you can also do damage from just running into enemies from above or below? But that type of attack doesn't play an animation, and sometimes it doesn't work. Otherwise a terrific game with a glorious soundtrack!

I haven't really played vampire survivor, but I can say that this game is very fun. You earn money each run which you can spend on power-ups making you a little bit stronger each additional run. What makes this game good are the simple controls. You just have a joystick to move and swipe to dash. This game definitely has that one more run addicting quality. Each level has a specific goal and as you rank up you unlock additional power ups which also keeps the game feeling fresh.
