Pour the coloured water from bottle to bottle until every bottle holds a single colour.
That is the whole game. No timer, no lives, no pressure — just you and the puzzle.
EVERY LEVEL CAN BE SOLVED
Most games in this genre shuffle the colours at random and hope for the best, which is why
their reviews are full of players stuck on a level that was never solvable.
Pourfall builds every level backwards. It starts from the finished state, with each bottle
already sorted, and then un-pours the colours step by step. Rewind those steps and you are
back at the solution, so a way through is guaranteed by the way the level was made — not by
luck. Every one of the 360 levels is then run through a solver to confirm it.
If you get stuck, you got there by your own moves — not by an unwinnable deal. Undo or add a bottle and try another route.
360 LEVELS, TWENTY-ONE DIFFICULTIES
Levels are grouped into twenty-one tiers of twenty. The first half adds a colour at a time, up to
fourteen. Then a spare bottle is taken away and the climb starts over — the same colours, far less
room to work in. Difficulty is not guesswork: each tier was measured by running a simple, no-lookahead
player over it sixty times, and tiers were assigned from the win rate that came back.
The first tiers are meant to be won. The last one is not.
BUILT TO BE READABLE
Twelve colours are hard to tell apart on a small screen, so each colour also carries a shape —
a circle, a triangle, a star. It is on by default and you can switch it off in the settings.
