About this app

Sector is a pilot flight logbook for airline and general aviation pilots, built by a working airline pilot. Import the roster your airline already gives you and your flight logbook keeps itself: hours, night time, landing currency, flight-time limits and a printable EASA, FAA or CASA PDF.

IMPORT, DON'T TYPE
Sector does not plug into your airline's crew system, and that is deliberate: nothing to sign into, nothing to break, no third party sitting between you and your own logbook. Instead you export the logbook file your airline already gives you and open it in Sector. It is a two minute job, and it can bring in two years of flying in one go. AIMS eCrew is fully supported, other crew systems and plain Excel (.xlsx) logbooks import too, and if you are switching apps, exports from other logbook apps come straight in as well. Importing the same months again never creates duplicates.

NIGHT TIME, WORKED OUT PROPERLY
Rosters never include night time. Sector can compute it from the actual position of the sun along your route, flight by flight.

Photograph a page of an old paper logbook and Sector reads the handwriting, flight by flight, for you to check before anything is saved. Photograph the flight-info strip the aircraft prints and one flight fills itself in. Sign in with your Google account to use the scanners: reading a page costs real money to run, so Sector needs to know who is asking.
