I like this App. There are some misgivings though. I can't lock each 'card' as added security. That would have been a nice feature and giving more peace of mind. The cards could be srop down rather then fill in data sheets. It's not a fun interactive app , but it's functional and could be better. I give it 4 stars as I'm just not into it and I don't enjoy using it. However if it keeps my data secure I'm happy. I read so many positive reviews on this app. So please understand this is just mine and how I feel about it.
I had an amazingly easy time importing data from previous password manager. I was upgrading from windows phone and they had explicit support for SkyWallet. There is a huge list of different password manager formats that desktop app knows about. For one drive sync the app asked for permissions I don't think it strictly needed like contact access. I guess safe-in-the-cloud is the one app that you have to have complete trust in.
The issue I was having has been resolved. Turns out there are two separate versions of SafeInCloud. The free & pro paid. This app is must have for me & many others. Who need to keep track of passwords. Thank You developers. I really would like to see the GUI modded somehow only for the Windows PC version.
Overall, this is a great app. The best feature is that it links to Android Wear so that you can get your passwords on your Android watch. My previously reported bug appears to have been fixed, and it now works correctly with both my Moto 360 2nd gen, and my Nixon Mission.
I needed to change my password. Once I changed my password, all my saved data was lost. I tried to restore the lost data via backed up data, but since I changed my password, I couldn't log in after the restore. I'm not sure if there's a fix to this, but there should be. Update: I'm still using Safeincloud and would happily recommend it. However, there still needs to be a fix implemented to the problem explained above. Also, this app desperately needs 2FA to remain relevant in a growing field.
Finally custom icons! Been waiting a while for this feature. I see that it supports *.ico files, so I was just wondering what's the optimal and maximum icon resolutions that SafeInCloud supports? I'd like to avoid the kind of blurry icons I sometimes get when the program downloads website icons.
