The app seems to work fine but I honestly don't understand the point of the app. Every option I click on in the app just opens up a web link anyways. I think simply adding a shortcut to the Safelink login page is all I need to manage my account. It's nice to be able to just open the app and quickly be able to glance at how much data I have remaining and wish there was an easier painless way to do the same thing on the website but other than that I don't know what the point of the app is.

Update: cannot add data or pay for it if you have lifeline. If you're out and about and data gets used you won't be able to use any apps to get where you're going like transit apps or use Google maps if you're lost. oh and we're excluded from earning rewards even if you give them permission to stay in the background of your device and use your data. I uninstalled the app.

Disappointed. Every attempt to log in was just more time wasted, waiting for a text with a pin to complete the process. Every text was an auto response: Sorry, something went wrong, with their 611 help #, a virtual bot guides you through generic prompts...none that are helpful. I also just read a review mentioning the large amount of data this app uses. I'm going to just pass on it. Once again, a free service turns out to be a bait and switch. IDK what I'm missing out on anyway. 🤔 🫡
