About this game

Sand Trail is a calm, meditative one-thumb drawing puzzle set in a quiet zen sand garden. Every garden is a single physics puzzle: a smooth pebble rests at the top of a bed of raked sand and a moss-green stone bowl waits somewhere below. Between them lie sharp rocks and smooth stones. Your task is to rake the trail that carries the pebble gently home.

Press and drag one finger to rake a single flowing trail anywhere across the sand. The moment you lift your finger, that trail sets into a firm ramp -- the pebble falls and then rolls and settles along whatever you raked. Shape a soft slope, a sweeping curve or a little rise to guide the pebble past the rocks and let it come to rest in the bowl.

There is a gentle catch: every garden gives you a measured amount of sand, shown in the meter, so you cannot simply rake wildly across the bed. The shorter and calmer your trail, the higher you score -- the sand you leave untouched becomes a calm bonus, and a clean low-sand finish counts as a serene clear. Sharp rake-teeth end the roll the instant the pebble touches them, while smooth indigo stones are solid and bounce the pebble off, so read the garden and settle your breath before you rake. Curve your trail through the amber river-pebbles along the way for extra points.

Work through ten hand-composed gardens that narrow the sand and set more rocks, stones and offset bowls the deeper you go, and chase a calmer, higher score on every one. It is a slow, satisfying breathe-then-rake loop -- part sand garden, part physics toy.
