Ruby is designed to empower you to optimize your health by monitoring your blood health effectively. You can check your iron and circulation scores, log your water intake, and track your menstrual cycle in one convenient place.

1. Download the app
2. Take a fingernail selfie
3. Get your Iron and Circulation Scores, and more!

Featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, Fast Company, Associated Press, and BBC.

*What is an Iron Score? It is a non-invasive assessment that helps determine your risk of iron deficiency anemia using a simple fingernail selfie to analyze the paleness of your fingernail beds. Not getting enough iron, folate or vitamin B12 in your diet may cause:

💅🏼 Brittle nails
😴 Fatigue
🏋️ Physical weakness
🎈 Lightheadedness
🥴 Dizziness
👱‍♂️ Pallor (Pale or yellowish skin)
💨 Shortness of breath
🤕 Headaches
🥶 Cold hands and feet

*What is a Circulation Score? is a measure of how fast your blood is moving in your fingertips.
A score lower than 50 indicates poor circulation. Consult your doctor.
A score between 50 and 75 indicates that circulation is borderline and could be improved.
A score over 75 is normal. The majority of women and men score between 75 - 100. You may notice increases and decreases with physical activity.

Ruby:
Allows you to track your mood, supplements, medications, water intake, and menstrual cycle for the day.

So inaccurate that it should only be used for fun. I've had low hemoglobin for months now due to surgeries, and still getting my period while on blood thinners. I bought a hemoglobin meter and was going to use this app to track it. Surprise! I can't see more than the last 3 of even my entered meter results without paying. The results from the fingernail picture are way off. I would have thought i was finally OK if i had depended on this alone. Could be improved faster if calibration was free.

Hi Amanda. We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with our app. As mentioned in our app description, AnemoCheck Mobile has room for improvement for chronically low hemoglobin levels, and it should not replace a blood test. Please make sure to always consult with your doctor before making medical decisions.

I was hoping to use this app to see how blood donations impact my hemoglobin levels. The process of taking a reading works well, but the reported results are widely inaccurate and fluctuating for me, even after "calibrating" with a lab test, and taking the readings in a consistent environment. On top of that you need to sign up for a paid subscription just to access your own data!

Wildly different results from 2 different androids, with nail pics taken back to back, in the same location, same lighting. Why? Tried multiple times but one phone always gave higher numbers in the 13-14 range, while the other was in the 11-12.3 range. No way to know which, if either, were giving the more accurate result.
