About this app

Satochip Hardware Wallet — offline, self-custody storage for your crypto.

IMPORTANT — WHAT THIS APP IS (AND IS NOT)
Satochip Hardware Wallet is the free companion app for the Satochip hardware wallet, a secure-element card that stores your private keys offline. This app is a storage-only, self-custody tool.

This app does NOT buy, sell, exchange, trade, or convert cryptocurrency. It does NOT provide any exchange, brokerage, trading, swap, staking, lending, or investment service, and it never takes custody of your assets. There is no in-app purchase of crypto, no on-ramp or off-ramp, and no order book. Its only purpose is to let you securely store your crypto in self-custody and read your own public address and balance. Your private keys are generated and stored inside the card's certified secure element and never leave it.

KEY BENEFITS
- True self-custody — your keys, your crypto. Keys never leave the secure element.
- Fully offline private keys — signing happens on the card, not on your phone.
- No accounts, no sign-up, no KYC — the app does not hold or move your funds.
- Open and transparent — Satochip is a well-known open-source hardware wallet.

HOW IT WORKS
The app has three simple tabs:

- WALLET — Hold your Satochip card to the back of your phone (NFC) to read your public address and balance. Balances are read from public blockchain nodes; your keys stay on the card.

- RECEIVE — Display your public address and copy it in one tap so you can safely receive and store your crypto in self-custody.

- SETTINGS — Quick links to our website, privacy policy, and support, plus the app version.

PRIVACY
The app does not collect personal data, does not require an account, and does not track you. It only reads public blockchain data to display your balance. See our privacy policy for details.

Satochip Hardware Wallet keeps your crypto in your own hands — offline, self-custodial, and free of any buying, selling, exchanging, or trading service.
