Map had almost no useable data for shallow water in my area. Auto route generation was ridiculous and had us going not only through shallows our boat couldn't pass through even with all boat parameters set in the app, but over land! Right off the bat I have no confidence in safe navigation. Trial subscription immediately uninstalled.

Meh... It's the best app I found but I resent the huge price increase to change screen color for night mode. That's kind of a "screw you" to their customers. Data is fair at best. And of course you have to use cell service so you can end up on the rocks real quick if not paying attention. Nothing can be done about that but it is very limiting.

I love the interface and easy to see navigation screen. It is pricey, but once you factor in the amount of data (weather, currents, tides, wind etc) built in, it is a pretty fair price....almost a bargain. Two complaints which prevent 5 stars at the moment. 1 - The GPS position seems slow to update. I often found myself over-correcting my heading because of this. 2 - trip plotting is not very intuitive. I generally have to set my destination multiple times before it accepts.
