Cool idea. Starts up quickly because I can just select a subfolder of my vault where I have tasks. I tried using it and items don't stay in the day view. Not sure what causes them to get kicked out. If I close the app it doesn't so maybe it is when I edit the document that it breaks it. Also doesn't keep the global filter after set.

Edit: Developer swiftly fixed my reported issues 🙏 I will give the app a try and may update the review later. Not happy at all that premium is a subscription only option though. I was going to purchase it, but I can't stand subscriptions for apps. It's gotta be one time or nothing for me. Consider adding that and I may send money your way.

Almost perfect, the only feature it doesn't have is a customisable background for the widget or at the very least a dark theme one. Apart from that my Obsidian To Do List is on my home screen and if I check them off in the widget it checks them off in Obsidian.
