This app can make and receive voice calls from within the app. To keep the call connected when you switch to another app or lock your phone, the app uses an Android foreground service only during an active call. You will see an ongoing-call notification while the call is in progress. The foreground service and notification end when the call ends. The app does not use foreground services for any other purpose.
