Not Today
The button every other to-do app is missing.
Some days a task is simply not happening. Tap Not Today and it steps out of the way until tomorrow. Its deadline is not moved and nothing is rescheduled behind your back, because pretending a deadline shifted is how a list starts lying to you. It just stops asking today.
Things come back on their own
Write down something that matters but has no deadline, and it will not rot in a list you never open. Undated tasks resurface after a few days, a week, or however long you choose, labelled as resurfaced rather than pretending to be due.
The daily review
Once a day, if you want it, Jot walks you through what is still open on Today, one task at a time. Finish it, move it, push it out, or leave it alone. Nothing moves unless you say so.
No streaks. No score. No guilt.
There is no streak to break. No completion percentage. No badge counting up how far behind you are. Jot keeps no score, and on a day when nothing needs your attention it says so and gets out of your way.
