Active Screen keeps your Android display awake when aggressive battery rules — especially on MIUI, HyperOS turn the screen off too soon.

Whether you’re monitoring dashboards, following recipes, running a kiosk-style display, or testing apps, one master toggle gives you reliable “always on” control without subscriptions or sign-in.

RECOMMENDED SETUP (MIUI / HYPEROS)

After installing, open the in-app Permissions screen and complete each step, then in system settings:

1. Autostart — On
2. Battery saver — No restrictions
3. Display pop-up while in background — Allow
4. Modify system settings — Allow (for brightness)
5. Notifications — Allow
6. Lock the app in recent tasks (Boost speed / recents lock)

LIMITATIONS

Active Screen uses standard Android APIs. The power button cannot be fully blocked without system privileges. On some OEM skins, the display may still sleep briefly before the app re-wakes it. Long periods at maximum brightness on AMOLED screens may increase burn-in risk — use lower brightness when possible.
