Ratings and reviews

Most of the time the app is stuck on "loading content" and not opening. Also still missing functionality: usually (on the website) I search for a product, once I clicked on a product I can click on the category to look for other products in the same category. Not possible in the app as there is no category to click on, it is only possible to go back to your search results. Without this feature the app absolutely unusable for me. I will delete the app again now until it is implemented

Terrible app, worse than the terrible website. Sometimes works, most the time it doesn't. Sometimes remembers your basket for longer than 60 seconds, sometimes replaces your basket with an order from weeks ago. But most of the time it just gets suck in a log-in loop as it seems to force you to log in from a browser then diverts back to the app, this then requests a log in again, and away on the loop you go. Waste of time. update 2025 Still crashing constantly, total waste of time.

If anything, it's TOO good. At least at convincing me to part with my money. The convenience of ordering both Click & Collect and for Delivery with Screwfix are unparalleled. The custom lists functionality is extremely useful. The only thing I find lacking is the ability to compare products, and the app sometimes "loses its place" if I leave to check something in my browser, no matter how briefly.
