Gentle screen time reminders are easy to ignore. ScrollSmack interrupts you while you’re doomscrolling and roasts you until you put the phone down.

Set a continuous limit for the apps that steal your hours — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit. When your time is up, ScrollSmack locks the screen with a full-display roast from one of eight ruthless personas.

To unlock your screen, you must type the phrase "I am wasting my time" letter for letter. That brief moment of friction breaks the autopilot trance.

What’s new

- Pause instead of disarm: take a 1-hour break, pause until 7 AM, or turn it off.
- Optional reminders (1, 3 or 7 days) to re-arm ScrollSmack after you turn it off.
- Faster roast dismissal: pressing Home or Recents clears the overlay about twice as fast.
- The Dismiss button now stays above the keyboard.
