About this game

Secret Santa Helper makes organising a gift exchange effortless. Add your group, set any exclusion rules, draw the pairings — and every participant gets a private reveal with no spoilers. No slips of paper, no awkward redraws, no one finding out who has them before the big day.

ADD YOUR GROUP
Start by adding everyone taking part. Each participant can have a name and an optional email address for the reveal. The list grows as fast as you can type — add a whole office, a family reunion, a school class, or just four close friends. There is no minimum or maximum group size.

EXCLUSION RULES
Real gift exchanges have real constraints. Partners shouldn't draw each other. Siblings who live together might need to be kept separate. Secret Santa Helper lets you set exclusion pairs between any two participants before the draw. The algorithm respects every exclusion and ensures the draw is always fair without any pair appearing twice.

ONE-TAP DRAW
When everyone is added and exclusions are set, tap Draw. Secret Santa Helper runs the assignment algorithm instantly and generates a complete set of private pairings. The draw is randomised each time, so every exchange feels fresh and fair.

PRIVATE REVEALS
Pairings are kept private by design. Each participant can be shown or emailed only their own assignment — they see who they're gifting to, and nobody else's pairing is revealed. The organiser can see the full list to handle logistics, but participants only ever see their own name.

REDRAW ANYTIME
Made a mistake? Added someone late? Tap Redraw to run a new assignment with the current group and exclusion rules. The old pairings are replaced instantly. You can redraw as many times as you like before the reveal.

WORKS OFFLINE
Secret Santa Helper works completely offline. All data is stored locally on the device — no account, no cloud, no sharing your group's names and emails with any server. The reveal feature uses your email client directly so the data stays on your device.
