Lexodon turns documents and web articles into a clean reading and listening experience. It keeps a private local library, preserves reading progress, and reads extracted text aloud with a fully on-device neural voice — no cloud, no uploads.

The product direction is simple: import content, extract readable text on-device, continue where you left off, and listen without sending documents to a backend.

Highlights

- Private local reading library for files and web links.
- On-device neural text-to-speech with an English voice and a German voice, and automatic language detection. When a document is in a language that isn't supported yet, you're told and it's read with the English voice.
- Reader mode with a seekable audio timeline: scrub anywhere, read-along highlighting, and auto-scroll that follows the narration and detaches when you scroll away, with a "Jump to current" button.
- Transport controls (play/pause/skip, speed, voice settings) driven by the actual audio player, so the controls match what you hear.

- Camera document scanning: capture pages with edge detection and multi-page capture, then recognize the text on-device and open the reader.
- Share-to-import: send a document, image scan, or web link from another app (Android share sheet or "Open with") and Lexodon imports it and opens the reader.
