Has a bulb burned out, but you are not sure what to buy as a replacement? BulbMatch turns the markings on your old bulb into a clear, conservative replacement profile for 220–240 V / 50 Hz electrical regions.
Photograph the markings, choose an image with the system photo picker, or enter the details manually. Recognition runs on your device and uses the photo only to create a draft: you must confirm, edit, or reject every detected value.
BulbMatch can account for:
• the exact bulb base;
• voltage and frequency;
• bulb wattage and, separately, a fixture maximum entered manually;
• luminous flux in lumens;
• color temperature;
• shape and dimmability.
After review, the app shows one of three outcomes: Compatible profile, Need clarification, or Potential conflict. A compatible profile gives you a concise checklist of parameters to use while shopping. If required details are missing, contradictory, unsupported, or outside the 220–240 V / 50 Hz scope, BulbMatch will not provide a positive result.
Key features:
• camera, system photo picker, and fully manual entry;
• built-in on-device marking recognition without an internet connection;
• an offline illustrated reference for common bulb bases, with search;
• optional local saving, history, reopening, and deletion of results;
• English and Russian languages;
• light, dark, and system themes;
• core features work offline.
Privacy:
Photo recognition runs on your device. Photos, full recognized text, and unfinished drafts are not saved. Only confirmed details can enter History, and only when you choose to save a result. Image import uses the system photo picker without access to your entire gallery.
Important:
BulbMatch provides shopping guidance based on markings you confirm. It does not inspect the fixture, wiring, socket, dimensions, enclosure, dimmer, or installation, and it does not certify that an installation is safe. Switch off the power and check the fixture label before replacement. Consult a qualified professional if you notice damage, excessive heat, moisture, or anything else that causes concern.
