About this app

SeedsIO is a free plant tracking platform used by growers worldwide since 2021. This app is the companion to the full web platform at seedsio.com, making NFC tag programming easy and giving you access to your plants, seed trays and notes wherever you are.

TRACK YOUR PLANTS
Add plants with their species, location, planting date, seed source and growing method. Attach dated photos to build a visual journal from seed to harvest. Add notes as you go so next season you can look back and see exactly what happened.

SEED TRAY MANAGEMENT
Map out your seed trays cell by cell. Choose your tray size, assign varieties to each cell, then track which seeds germinated and which got potted up. Fill tools let you quickly populate rows, columns or entire trays. (Web only right now)

NFC SMART TAGS
Stick an NFC tag on a pot or raised bed and tap your phone to pull up that plant's full history instantly. Write tags directly from the app. No need to scroll through lists to find the right plant.

QR CODE SCANNING
Scan QR codes to quickly look up plants. Handy for labelling beds, trays or individual pots.

SEED BANK
Keep an inventory of your seeds. Track quantity levels, link seeds to the plants you grew from them, and remember which seed sources gave you the best results.

WORKS OFFLINE
The app saves your data locally so you can use it in the garden without a signal. Everything syncs automatically when you are back online.

PHOTO JOURNALS
Attach photos to any plant with a single tap. Build up a visual record over the growing season and compare performance year on year.

COMMUNITY
Set plants to public and browse what other growers are tracking. Follow gardeners, see their activity feeds and discover what varieties are working for people in similar conditions.
