Born in 1971, SE.FA.MO. it was the first private blood chemistry analysis laboratory to open its business in the Vicenza area. From the beginning, it obtained the agreement with the National Health Service for laboratory analysis activities: later the agreements were added for bone densitometry, ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound, Pap tests, sectoral magnetic resonance imaging and radiology tests.
The current headquarters in Stradella Cappuccini was inaugurated in 1985. Since then the diagnostic capabilities and activities have constantly grown, introducing cutting-edge methodologies and equipment, and in December 2003 SE.FA.MO. has achieved ISO 9001 certification for laboratory analysis activities and for the diagnostic imaging service.
