QR Studio is a fast, private QR code generator and QR code scanner that works completely offline. Create QR codes, scan QR codes and barcodes, and check every link before you open it. The app has no internet permission at all, so nothing you make or scan can be sent anywhere.

SCAN QR CODES AND BARCODES
Point the camera and the QR code reader decodes instantly, entirely on your device. As a barcode scanner it also reads EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec, so it works on product barcodes as well as QR. The QR code scanner can also read a code from a picture already saved in your gallery, and every scan is saved to a searchable history.

QR code scams work because a printed code hides its destination until you have already tapped. QR Studio inspects every scanned link on your device and warns you about the tricks that actually get used: pages with no HTTPS, link shorteners that hide the real address, look-alike domains built from punycode characters, raw IP addresses instead of a domain, risky top-level domains, unusual subdomains and deliberately misleading domain names. You see the real destination first, and you decide.
