1. What is KETOSCAN mini?
KETOSCAN mini is the first portable acetone gas analyzer in South Korea
Acetone, which is one of the ketone bodies produced when decomposing body fat, flows through the blood vessels and is discharged through the lungs through the respiration.
It is a product that can measure the blood ketone concentration and the body fat decomposition rate by measuring the concentration of the breathing acetone gas.

2. Who needs a KETOSCAN mini?
- Low Carb High Fat Diet (LCHF / Ketogenic Diet) When you need to measure your ketone production!
- When you lose body fat through low-calorie diet, check for the scientific diet check that only the body fat is decomposed not the muscle!
- For the purpose of ketosis check!

This was a fantastic device but now, it won't do anything. Ever since the last App update, it won't work at all. It will connect, or so it's says, but when I push start nothing happens. According to my device information I still have over 200 tests and on my 2nd device I have over 250 tests left. The problem is the App...please fix it! I've already reached out to customer support twice!

The app is simple and relatively easy to use. I find the data from the keto scan device very useful while trying to stay in ketosis. The only issue I've run into is I can't edit data that I input on previous days. For example I accidentally input my weight wrong one day and forgot the decimal point so now the app thinks I weighed 1,885 lb on one day instead of 188.5 lb and it messes up the rest of the data going forward. It looks like I could delete the data but I would prefer to fix it.

Good device, but the app is as bare bones as you can get. The data charts don't show daily time frames which is when these measurements matter. Having to copy the data to excel to get useful analytics makes the app pretty useless. Improper English in the app makes me think the firm paid as little as possible to just get a functional product out the door.
