ServiceM8 Lite is a simple, fast & easy-to-use Android app specifically designed for field staff, subcontractors & temporary workers who just need the basics, and don’t have a management or billing role in the business. ServiceM8 Lite for Android gives these workers the essentials to know when & where to be, view key job details, receive updates, and complete core job tasks on site.

ServiceM8 Lite is not designed for use by the business owner, or field staff with a management and/or billing role. This app does not have the same feature set or capabilities as the ServiceM8 iPhone/iPad app.

If you’re a subcontractor who subcontracts to a business using ServiceM8 — with ServiceM8 Lite, you can receive work requests, use digital job cards to get all job & client details, see your schedule in real time, complete checklists of job requirements, track time on site, review job history, and save job notes & photos.

Ratings and reviews

Compared to the IOS version this one is completely watered down. I had a quick peak at my mate's serviceM8 and he was on IOS and there were heaps more features on there and it was a lot more reliable. The sync times for the Android are also very slow, I have to wait a minute for jobs to load on my page. And when I try to add new jobs they don't appear on my page. I have to manually search for them to appear. And when I check out of a job I have to manually set the job as completed.

last review was 1 star. so happy to now to find that all features are available and I can use without limitations on my android device. I've been using servicem8 for over 10 years and hated having to carry an ipad, that would always be flat, around as an extra device. thank you for acknowledging the other 70% if phone useres

Yes you can do the core basics but saying it was intentionally designed this way sounds rediculous. Android has a huge market share so there should be an "intentionally designed" full version along side this Lite version. Even the website points towards the app if trying to open in mobile mode which is very unhelpful considering cant view clients of job history in the android app. Other than that it does the (very basic) job.
