A nice theme, but the progression layout is absolutely abysmal. You will quickly run into proression walls where the only way to progress is attacking and stealing resources from lower level players, but all higher levels are doing the same to you, making you lose all your resources and troops with no safety nets or way to defend yourself. The costs of upgrades and research is far too high, making it feel like you're trapped unable to progress at all for days on end.

This game is a great time consuming type of game, it will keep you doing things every minute you are on the game, for example, as you up grade your ship, you can play mini games while you wait on the upgrade to complete. You can also gather resources to upgrade the ship. This game will always keep you busy doing something, you will never get bored.

Like most of the Evony clones, but done in a way that doesn't feel like a clone. This game is great for people who enjoy the long term tactical aspect of these games because it retains many of the features that made the genre popular, but the addition of being able to move your base around the world for a free resource you generate in the game, the ability to run multiple marches with multiple commanders, which you receive freely, increase the pace that this game can be played and enjoyed, reducing the downsides that many people dislike about the genre. One of the best upgrades has to be the active tactics involved in its combat system, where you are able to see what your enemy has and send forces to counter. its simplistic, using rock paper scissors format, but its far more satisfying, especially since you can watch. its a much needed fresh take on the genre, it works wonderfully, and honestly just feels good to play.
