ShadeFinder shows the closest matches in your own stock, with the exact rack, shelf and bin to walk to. No more hunting the racks from memory or keeping the customer waiting.

How it works
1. Add your stock once. Capture each thread or lace and tag where it sits.
2. At the counter, capture the customer's color.
3. ShadeFinder ranks the closest shades you actually have and points you to them.

Color matching that reflects what the eye sees ShadeFinder compares colors the way people perceive them, not by simple pixel values, so the suggestions line up with your own judgement. You make the final call by eye. The app just gets you there faster.

shades in real time. Sweep across a fabric and instantly see what you have in
stock that fits.

• Accurate colour matching
Built on professional colour science (CIE L*a*b* and CIEDE2000) — the same
perceptual model used in the textile and printing industries — so matches
reflect how the human eye actually sees colour, not just raw RGB values.

• Find a shade
Capture a sample and get a ranked list of matches, each with a confidence
score and its exact shelf location.

• Add stock in seconds
Snap a colour, pick its rack / shelf / bin, and ShadeFinder records it with an
auto-generated internal code — no manufacturer codes to type in.

• Shelf map & inventory
Browse your full inventory and see how your stock is organised across the
shop's shelves.

• Works offline
Your inventory and all colour matching live on the device, so the core
workflow keeps working even with no signal in the shop.

TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS:

Colour accuracy depends on consistent lighting. For the closest matches, capture samples under steady, even light and keep your capture conditions similar between adding stock and searching.

Camera permission is required to read colours. ShadeFinder processes camera frames on-device to extract a colour — it does not save photos of your samples.
