Getting worse every time it updates. Their description "we're getting better at identifying songs" is total BS! If it doesn't identify ANY songs at all, how can anyone determine if they're getting better. If it doesn't get fixed in next update, I'm installing and going to another app. Really enjoyed this before since it linked to my Spotify app but now...
Intrusive recommendations engines wreck what should be a song recognition app. This app is intrusive, invading and throughly unpleasant the second you ask it to recognise a song it makes you follow the artist concerned! Plus there is the despicable practice of shazaming ads something I refuse to do.
Was pretty good until I changed my phone. Now every single one of saved songs has disappeared. A notification appeared saying my songs had been synced after entering my email address, but My Shazam is still empty. Songs that are used in adverts show the advertisers name rather than the song info.
Worst lyric app on market but it does identify like 80% of my songs but Google play identifies like 95% of all my music and all the music they have to offer. Highly disatisfied with the accuracy of the app especially the lyrics when some are like miles apart on wording that a 2nd grader could have spotted.
Still unable to identify songs/bars when they are hummed with reasonable melody. Does one really need to play the exact song for it to identify correctly?
this app is totally the best thing that has happened to the internet since Facebook. it is the fastest way to find a song that you love listening to but you don't know the name of the song. I love this app!
Have you noticed that we have become faster and more accurate at identifying tracks? That’s because we have been working hard to make the app better than ever. Update to the most recent version to enjoy the latest and greatest Shazam.
