Shelfspan keeps a shelf list on your phone so you can see clear span, board type, bracket notes, and the weight you expect on each shelf.
Shelf span and load notes: label, room, brackets, weight limits.
Record a shelf
Add each shelf with a short label and room, enter span and depth in inches or centimeters, and describe brackets or corbels. Add an estimated load and a conservative limit you trust. Material chips help you remember whether the board is pine, plywood, MDF, metal, or wire.
Load labels
Mark a shelf OK, Watch, or Heavy. These labels stay on the phone so you can scan for shelves that need weight moved before you add storage bins or books. Changing a label does not change anything in your home.
Find a shelf
Search by room, label, material, or bracket note. Filter to Watch or Heavy when you are planning a rearrange. Open a match to bump estimated load after you add or remove boxes.
Keep the list current
Edit a shelf when span or contents change. Remove a shelf you no longer use. Shelves are grouped by room and sorted by label so the list reads like a home worksheet.
Guide and settings
The Guide is a short offline walkthrough for span and load notes. In Settings, choose length and weight units for display, load sample shelves to see a filled list, or reset everything and start from an empty list.
Shelfspan stores shelf labels, spans, depths, materials, bracket notes, load figures, and text notes only on this phone. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no ads. The app does not use the internet. It is a notebook for shelf spans and loads you would otherwise keep on paper.
